Umm... Halloween?

So, I haven’t written anything here in awhile.
I suppose I should.
But I have no idea what to write about.

Well... Halloween is coming up. We’ll probably have kids coming over. That’ll be awesome.
And then I’m heading over to the Rage Cage for their Halloween BBQ/Party/whatever.

And I still need to figure out my costume.
So I think I’ll list ideas here.

Here we go:
Falcon Heene: Probably the most topical costume that people might recognize, but too easy?
A Never-Nude: Really easy, but too awkward? And kind of out-of-date.
Bill O’Reilly: “We’ll do it live!” I feel like Biola is too conservative to appreciate it, though.
Glenn Beck: Same problem
Kanye West: Too easy, also I’m white.
Billy Mays: Good, but I don’t have the facial hair...
Jonathan the Zombie: Fairly easy, and a classic.

Back to Life

So, Self-Storage is over.
It was a great time. Our actors were fantastic. Movies are always better when you have fun, very cool actors.

We ended on fantastic note with the fight scene. Watching fake bottles breaking over heads in slow motion is a fantastic way to end a shoot.

And of course the hard part is going back to normal, boring school life. Nothing seems as appealing as hanging out on a movie set.
That honestly may be the hardest part of being a film major.
Still doing Gen Eds and homework and papers when all we want to do is work on movies.

Self-Storage

I spent the weekend working on a student production called Self-Storage. It’s about a bunch of people living in a storage complex in the 70’s.
I was Assistant Script Supervisor, which means I don’t have to do much, except of course be ready to actually Script Supervise this Saturday when Kyle is gone.

I always forget how much I love being on set.

Final Push

Alright, so I’m going to try to actually get this website to the point where it’s publishable today. Hopefully that works out. If you’re reading this, hopefully it doesn’t look too bad.

On a side note, seeing Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D tonight. Pretty stoked.
